The 9th Annual Choral Dessert Show will be held on May 2nd at 7:00PM in the
MMS gym. The dessert show will feature the HS Choir, HS Chamber Singers, and
MS Chamber singers. Students will be performing solo, duet and group numbers
from Broadway musicals, as well as a few vocal jazz tunes. Tickets go on
sale today and are $13. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time, as we have
limited seating. Members of the choir will serve homemade fancy desserts,
coffee and tea to audience members.

The newly created Dessert Show Cookbook, created by the fabulous Mendocino
Choir Boosters, will be "unveiled" at the show and will be available for
purchase. The Dessert Show Cookbook includes 25 tasted and tested desserts
from past dessert shows. It also includes student cover art, photos of the
choir and all of the desserts have been named, by the students, after
Broadway music. Desserts from the cookbook will be featured at the show on
the 2nd. The book is $15 and will be an ongoing fundraiser to help our
students attend music festivals. Contact Kim Bratton if interested in
purchasing a cookbook.

Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
